
James Green, B.A.
Clinic Coordinator
James Green, B.A., is the Clinic Coordinator at CEDAR. James is responsible for the coordination of services and activities provided at the CEDAR clinic. James works with the clinical team to ensure quality assurance of the services delivered at CEDAR. As the clinic coordinator, he also coordinates a variety of research projects associated with CEDAR. He also leads the InVEST program at CEDAR, a school and work coaching program CEDAR offers clients to help them reach their educational and vocational goals.
Academic: James received his bachelor’s degree in Holistic Psychology from Lesley University in 2020. He has a background in research concerning career counseling for people living with serious mental illness and has worked as a statistical consultant for counseling psychology research labs.
Interests and Experience: Prior to joining the CEDAR team, James has held clinical internships at the Gavin Foundation, working with young adults living with substance use disorder, as well as Doc Wayne, a DBT Sports-based intervention for young adults who have lived through traumatic experiences. He also works at the Mental Health Identity and Adaptability research lab as a research associate part time at Lesley University, researching career counseling interventions for people living with serious mental illness. He has interests regarding the role that career construction plays in recovery from serious mental health conditions. James is continuing to work on projects exploring the etiology of positive symptoms of psychosis, exploring the impact of social and role functioning interventions on treatment outcomes for youth at risk for psychosis, and exploring the utility of integrating mental health interventions and technology.
