Our History

The CEDAR Clinic opened in 2009 as a collaboration of the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and the Massachusetts Mental Health Center, funded by a grant from the Sidney R. Baer Jr. Foundation. In 2018, the CEDAR Clinic became a satellite clinic of the Brookline Center for Community Mental Health. The program continues to receive grant support from the MA Department of Mental Health.

We are grateful for the generous funding by the Sidney R. Baer Jr. Foundation, and the support of the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health (particularly the Metro-Boston Regional Office and the staff of the Massachusetts Mental Health Center), and the Department of Psychiatry at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center that have made this effort and website possible.

The CEDAR Clinic is a clinical program of The Brookline Center for Community Mental Health and is affiliated with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School.

CEDAR is located at The Brookline Center for Community Mental health. Please see our directions page for more details.
