The CEDAR Clinic opened in 2009 as a collaboration of the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and the Massachusetts Mental Health Center, funded by a grant from the Sidney R. Baer Jr. Foundation. In 2018, the CEDAR Clinic became a satellite clinic of the Brookline Center for Community Mental Health. CEDAR also continues to be affiliated with the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and CEDAR research programs take place within the Psychosis Research Program of the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. The CEDAR Clinic continues to receive grant support from the MA Department of Mental Health.
