Saneliso Masuku, MD is a board-certified child and adolescent and adult psychiatrist with the Brookline Center for Community Mental Health and the CEDAR Clinic. Dr. Masuku provides psychiatric evaluations, psychotherapy, and psychopharmacology to children and adolescents and their families, and adults.
Academic: Dr. Masuku earned her undergraduate degree in Health Science at Rice University. She attended medical school at Loma Linda University. She completed her general psychiatry training at Baylor College of Medicine followed by a child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Cambridge Health Alliance.
Clinical and Clinical Research Interests: Dr. Masuku has developed a wide range of interests during residency and fellowship training. She has a particular interest in experience treating adolescents and adults while considering various frameworks including psychodynamic psychotherapy, family systems while considering biological contributions to chronic mental illness. Clinical interests include working with transitional age youth who are navigating the process of becoming adults, working with family systems, and treating psychotic spectrum disorders in vulnerable populations.
