At CEDAR, we offer many different opportunities for developing mental health professionals.
An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
You can make a difference.
Early intervention in and prevention of major mental illness depends on identification of young people during the very early stages of these illnesses. In other words, early intervention and prevention of severe mental illness depends on people like you to recognize the early warning signs and reach out to help.
CEDAR provides up-to-date information and training on the early stages of psychosis so that if someone you know or work with is showing signs of risk, you will know what to look for and where to find help.
Our Clinical Training Opportunities
CEDAR offers training opportunities for psychiatry residents, psychology interns and practicum trainees, and interns in counseling. There may be post-doctoral fellowships in clinical psychology.
